1. Who we are
Floweal operates a global mobility platform that connects relocatees, owners and organizations moving people across borders. In this policy, “Floweal”, “we” or “us” refers to Lodgerin USA Inc., a Florida corporation doing business as “Floweal”, with its registered address at 10750 NW 66th St, Apt 306, Doral, FL 33178, United States. Lodgerin USA Inc. is the controller of personal data processed through the public Floweal website. For personal data processed through the Floweal platform in connection with a booking, relocation program, or institutional relationship, the applicable data protection role of Lodgerin USA Inc. (controller, processor, or sub-processor) depends on the nature of that relationship, as described in Section 4 below and in the Terms and Conditions applicable to that service.
2. Information we collect
Account data (name, email, phone, password, language and country). Profile and verification data you submit to find housing or relocate employees, including identity documents, proof of income, employment letters and references where required by a landlord or partner. Booking and transaction data such as listings viewed, applications, contracts, payments and messages exchanged through the platform. Technical data including IP address, device, browser, operating system, pages visited and approximate location derived from your IP. Information you provide when you contact support, request a demo or apply to a job.
3. How we use information
To create and secure your account, verify your identity and prevent fraud. To match relocatees with housing, route relocation cases to the right organization and process applications, contracts and payments. To operate, debug, improve and personalize the platform and our communications. To send transactional messages and, where permitted, product updates you can unsubscribe from at any time. To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
4. Legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR)
4.1 Public website visitors. For visitors to floweal.com who are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, Lodgerin USA Inc. acts as the data controller and processes personal data under one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract with you, your consent (which you can withdraw), our legitimate interests in running and improving the website, and compliance with legal obligations. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you can ask us to explain the balancing test. 4.2 Platform users referred through a Client Institution. Where you access the Floweal Desk or Floweal Go platform because a Client Institution, employer, or educational program has referred or enrolled you, that Client Institution is responsible for the lawfulness of its collection and transfer of your personal data to Floweal, and Floweal processes your data on the instructions of, or in accordance with the U.S.-based processing terms agreed with, that Client Institution or Landlord, as set out in the Terms and Conditions governing that service. Absent a separate Data Processing Agreement between Floweal and the relevant Client Institution or Landlord, Floweal does not make any representation or warranty of GDPR compliance for data processed in this context, consistent with Section 12.9 of the applicable platform Terms and Conditions.
5. Sharing and subprocessors
We share data only with parties needed to deliver the service: the landlord, agency, employer or organization involved in your booking or relocation; payment processors; identity verification providers; cloud hosting and database providers; email, analytics and customer support tools; and professional advisors. We require subprocessors to protect your data with contractual and technical safeguards. Floweal’s current subprocessors and service providers include, among others: Amazon Web Services (cloud hosting), Google Cloud Platform and Google Workspace (productivity and infrastructure), Stripe (payment processing), Signaturit (electronic signature), Twilio SendGrid (transactional email), and HubSpot (customer support and live chat). A complete and current list is available on request at privacy@floweal.com.
6. International transfers
Because Floweal supports mobility worldwide, your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. When data leaves the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses incorporated through our service providers’ data processing agreements (including with our cloud hosting, payment processing, and productivity-software providers), or other lawful transfer mechanisms, and we apply additional safeguards where needed.
7. Cookies and analytics
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and secure the platform, and optional cookies for analytics and product improvement. You can manage non-essential cookies from the cookie banner or your browser settings. Disabling them may affect some features.
8. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, to comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations, and to resolve disputes. Inactive accounts and related records are deleted or anonymized after a reasonable retention period. Specific retention periods are available on request.
9. Your rights
If you are a resident of a U.S. state with an applicable privacy law (such as California, Florida, Colorado, or others), you may have the right to access, delete, or correct your personal data, to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal data and of targeted advertising, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Where required by applicable law, we honor opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control, as described in our Cookie Policy. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@floweal.com or use the cookie-preference tool referenced in our Cookie Policy. You may designate an authorized agent to exercise these rights on your behalf, subject to verification. Subject to applicable law, you can also access, rectify, delete or port your data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise your rights, write to privacy@floweal.com from the email associated with your account.
10. Data security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, role-based permissions, audit logging and continuous monitoring to protect data. No system is perfectly secure: if you believe your account has been compromised, contact security@floweal.com immediately.
11. Children
Floweal is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact privacy@floweal.com and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our service, technology or law. When changes are material, we will notify you by email or through the platform before they take effect.
